Just want to ask is there a way to set the balance to 0. We observe the EmployeeBalanceTransactions could only take a positve or negative value but will not allow to set for 0. There are test cases that we want to reset the employee balance to 0, but we can't be able to acheive that with the current API as it required us to know the balances for us to deduct. Is there any API that could do this? if not, is there a plan to have an API to support this

Hey @Maria Camba we had an integration that used to "true up" balances that were out of sync between Dayforce and 3rd party platform.

What we did was read in all their balance transactions, let's say they added up to -77.00 hrs. We would send in a POST EmployeeBalanceTransaction with that +77.00 to net it to zero. You may need to flip the pos/negative signs depending on your sum of balances.

Another consideration is you would see this true up balance via the UI and would need to understand to ignore it or at least account for it in an audit to prove it's use.
