Dayforce Community Rules

Your access to and use of the Dayforce Community indicates your acceptance of these Rules of Conduct, as well as the Dayforce Terms. Dayforce reserves the right to revoke access from a user for failing to comply with the following Rules.
  1. The Golden Rule

Treat others the way you wish to be treated. We want everyone in the Community to feel it is a safe place to express themselves and engage with others. Abusive, disrespectful, or negative comments and behavior will not be tolerated.

  2. Search first, then Post

By searching for your problem first and joining in on conversations, we can build a community that is quick and easy to help solve your issues. In many cases, someone will have had the same issue or question before and may have already found a solution or answer! Watch for discussions marked “Best Answer” to guide you quickly to an answered question.

  3. Don’t share or post sensitive information

Dayforce treats personal information seriously - both ours and our customers’. Please do not post or share information that could be considered personal or confidential such as IDs, Social Security Numbers, billing & contact information, comments shared in confidence, etc. This also includes information that could be considered proprietary to Dayforce or your own organization such as trade secrets and other documents that are meant for Dayforce customers only.

  4. Don’t solicit users of the Community

We want our community to evolve into an open and engaging place where customers can discuss ideas and share solutions to problems. As such, we want conversations that keep us focused on the customer and keep their best interests in mind. Please keep discussions on topic and about Dayforce related products and services. This is not a place for other business development activities, and business unrelated to Dayforce.

  5. Don’t pose as anyone but yourself

In an age where individuals can hide behind the mask of an alias, we want our community to be safe and transparent for all its participants. Please do not pose as anyone other than yourself. Make your intentions clear to others about who you are and who you are representing. Do not speak on behalf of anyone you are not entitled to. We want our community to be a safe place for healthy and transparent discussion.

  6. Tag and sort

Congratulations if you’ve found an answer to your question, but don’t forget that others might also have the same question. When we share information with others, the value of our community grows as well. When you make a post or start discussions, please tag and sort your posts in the right place, so others can find it easily. This ensures content is easily searchable for everyone in the community. If your discussion evolves into something else, that’s great, and we can help you get it moved to the right place.

  7. Keep it lawful

Dayforce does not support use of our community for illegal activity. Please do not share or post content illegal in nature.

  8. Report anything inappropriate

While Dayforce has staff monitoring the site to keep its content on topic and appropriate, we want your help too! Think of this community like you would your own and help keep it safe by looking out for your fellow neighbors. “Flag” anything you see that Dayforce should moderate.

  9. Provide feedback via “Share Ideas”

Dayforce values your feedback, whether it is positive or constructive. We want to hear how we can improve our product and services to better serve you, and your direct feedback is crucial for us to understand and act accordingly. While we are actively monitoring the community, we won’t catch everything, so please provide feedback in our “Share Ideas” portal. Once there, find the right place to either share Dayforce product ideas or Community improvement feedback. This will help us make your community experience even better.

  10. Learn, engage, and have fun

Finally, take full advantage of all the growing knowledge and resources in our community. We are constantly adding to it, so that the community becomes your go-to place to help get a question answered or a problem solved. A community is like a living organism - it grows and evolves. Engage each other respectfully, help each other out, and have fun!
