Enterprise software isn’t just evolving — it’s undergoing a revolution. At Dayforce, we’re not just building new tools. We’re reshaping our identity around a bold vision: a unified, collaborative, and innovation-driven platform. This isn’t just about extensibility — it’s about empowerment. Through our extensibility movement, we’re uniting developers, customers, and partners around a shared platform mission. We’re creating open spaces for innovation. And we’re focusing on community-powered success that benefits everyone. Let’s break down the three pillars of this vision: Unlock. Operate. Realize.  Unlock the People Potential Across Our Customers and Partners At the heart of our transformation is the belief that unity drives progress. Dayforce is building an ecosystem where developers, partners, and enterprise leaders co-create — not just consume — solutions. No more silos. No more one-size-fits-all. Instead, adapt, innovate, and run your business your way:  A unified data layer that ens

This guide explains how to enable Integration Studio and assign the required role access to get started.Integration Studio requires a user to have specific role feature options configured.Important: Users with access to Integration Studio can generate and send data that might include Personal Identifiable information (PII) as well as rates of pay. Please ensure that this feature is enabled only for roles that are assigned to users who can be trusted with this type of information.Role feature access:  Required: Integrations > Integration Studio (By default, users who have access to the Integrations feature and to the Integration Studio feature will have the Connectors feature and the Build My Own/Event Driven sub-feature enabled for their user role.) Important: You must have both the Integrations feature and the Integration Studio feature enabled for your user role to have access to the Connectors feature and to the Build My Own/Event Driven sub-feature. For example, if the Integrati

From Product to Platform—What It Means for DevelopersFor years, enterprise software operated under a product-centric model. New features were shipped, configurations were predefined, and extensibility—if it existed—was limited to a handful of technical experts behind closed doors. At Dayforce, we’re flipping that script. We’re evolving from a product company to a platform company. And that shift changes everything.Extensibility is no longer a technical footnote—it’s the driving force of our innovation strategy. It empowers developers, partners, and customers to build, extend, and evolve solutions tailored to their unique needs. The result? Greater agility, stronger outcomes, and an ecosystem designed for co-creation.Why Now?Market demands are shifting faster than ever. Workforce strategies are changing, compliance landscapes are evolving, and organizations need solutions that meet them where they are. Rigid, monolithic software just won’t cut it anymore.Platform extensibility allows bus

This guide provides a basic understanding about Integration Studio.Integration Studio offers you a robust, multipurpose, user-friendly solution where you can create, manage, and monitor integrations between Dayforce and other systems. Historically, users had to configure integrations manually through complex XML and XSLT mappings, or have their integrations coded and managed by Dayforce’s data exchange teams.Using Integration Studio, you can configure inbound and outbound integrations to and from Dayforce through an intuitive and low-code experience. It allows you to build your imports and exports to accommodate the various data mapping and transformation requirements typically seen for data exchange across systems through a simple, step-by-step process.Inbound Integrations: You can use inbound integrations to import data into Dayforce from external system that can't follow the standard Dayforce import specifications. Integration Studio retrieves the source data based on the type of in
