When Integration Studio calls an API and it gets an error from the API (say incoming data not matching the data schema), does Integration Studio log this failure?

Hi @Henry Huang​ , apologies for the huge delay here. Relaying on behalf of Lexi Woodward:

1. Integration Studio does log failures from the API retrieving Data. This will look like the RetrieveDataTask failing (the first of the three steps documented in the logs; for additional information on each of three steps I recommend reviewing the "Troubleshooting" section of the Integration Studio Admin Guide
2. If the API call fails when Integration Studio is running an integration, the integration can be re-run, which then re-triggers the API call. That being said, if there's an issue with an external API (ex: permissions entered into Studio to make a POST call are invalid) then the issue would need to be corrected prior to re-running, otherwise the same error will appear
3. Failed runs are retained in the Integration Studio logs the same way any other run is retained (the actual files are retained/can be downloaded for 30 days, the actual record of the run remains in general)
4. There are alerting options based on Integration Studio runs.
5. There are no options to generate a file for further investigation. If you can provide us with more information about what you require here we can address.
