We’re excited to launch the Dayforce Studio & DPI Builder Series — a collaborative initiative designed to bring together internal teams and partners to better leverage the full potential of the Dayforce platform.

What this series is about

This series focuses on showcasing real-world capabilities through practical, hands-on examples. Our goal is to help teams:

• Build with confidence using proven patterns
• Drive reuse and scale through shared solutions
• Strengthen the developer community through collaboration and knowledge sharing

Through weekly sessions, deep dives, and interactive discussions, participants will gain actionable insights into how to apply these tools in real implementations—and contribute back to a growing ecosystem of shared expertise.

What we covered in Session 1

In this kickoff session, we introduced the foundations of both Dayforce Studio and Dayforce Payroll Interface (DPI):

• Dayforce Studio
  An extensibility toolkit that enables you to build custom applications directly within Dayforce. You can define custom data models, extend existing objects, create user interfaces, apply business logic, and design workflows—all without relying on external systems or waiting on product roadmap updates.
• Dayforce Payroll Interface (DPI)
  A flexible integration framework powered by Studio and Integration Studio, designed to support standardized, scalable global payroll integrations. DPI enables organizations to manage complex, country-specific payroll requirements while reducing reliance on workarounds and ensuring consistency across regions.

Together, these tools empower teams to deliver tailored, scalable solutions and unlock new possibilities within the Dayforce platform
